At *national teen pregnancy rates we should have expected to see 2.835 pregnancies since the completion of the program and have seen none.

No student was already a parent at the time of enrollment.
1 girl became pregnant and birthed a child since completing the program.
At *national teen pregnancy rates we should have expected to see 5.544 pregnancies since the completion of the program and have seen 1.
PROGRAM PERFORMANCE SUMMARY:
45 students have completed the program in the last 2 years.
2 girls and 1 boy of 45 students were already parents or becoming parents before enrollment in Teens & Toddlers.
2 girls of 45 students have become parents since completion of the program in the last 2 years.
With *national teen pregnancy rates at 12.6%* for this demographic, we could have expected 10.8 pregnancies during this time period and we have seen 2. This represents a radical decrease in teen pregnancies through our program of 550%.
Additional skills learned through the Teens & Toddlers program include communication and conflict resolution skills, parenting, job search and preparation. Indicators also include greatly improved communication skills and overall academic performance as well as attendance.
