You may want to include an exercise
time in your program. Seniors usually like this activity. The
Head Nurse or Activities Director at your center (if applicable) should
be able to show you some simple exercise progressions that will target
most areas of the body. You may enjoy including songs in your exercise
program to "spice up" the routine, and to make things livelier. The
following are some suggested songs to include in your program. While
the children will probably enjoy all the songs, you should note the seniors'
behavior during the songs. Some seniors may feel that some of the
songs are childish, and be embarrassed to participate. Ask the seniors
if they have any favorite songs that they would like to sing. Try
out different songs and use those that work best for your group.

Hello, How Are You?", "The More We Get Together", "Are You Sleeping?",
